Capital Works

Each year the Association prepares a plan of Capital Works to be carried out to our homes to ensure that the remain in the best possible condition.

This area of the site details the Associations Capital and Cyclical Programme for financial year 2008/09. 

The Capital Programme includes major works to our homes, such as the replacement of central heating systems, kitchens, bathrooms, and windows and doors.

The Cyclical Programme includes works that are done on a predetermined arranged cycle, yearly, every five and ten years, and ensures that the Association meets it legal duties in relation to gas safety and electrical testing and ensures the general upkeep of the properties. This includes items like gas safety, electrical testing, close painting, guttering cleaning and external painting.
