Care and Repair

The primary aim of Care and Repair in North Lanarkshire is to assist elderly and disabled owner-occupiers to undertake repairs or improvements to their own property.

In addition to assistance with repairs and improvements, the project offers advice and referral to other agencies.

Some of the works undertaken last year included disability adaptations, works to windows and doors, damp proofing and rot treatments and, heating works.  Whilst the small repairs service dealt with joinery works, plumbing works, electrical works, and general household repairs.
