This regeneration project is being developed in conjunction with South Lanarkshire Council. As part of this development, 22 semi-detached and terraced 2 and 3 bedroom homes are being offered for sale under the Scottish Government’s Low Cost Initiative for First Time buyers (LIFT) initiative, called the New Supply Shared Equity Scheme. These properties should be complete late 2008/early 2009. In addition, 56 new build units are also being provided for rent and include a mix of one-bedroom cottage flats, 2 and 3 bedroom semi-detached and terraced houses.
It includes 78 new build homes being constructed on the cleared site of old tenement blocks.
